Pram has over 24 years of experience working in various facets of the healthcare sector, including: hospital pharmacy practice, retail pharmacy practice, consulting, teaching, health focused start-ups, opioid dependence treatment, clinic management, virtual care/tele-health, anticoagulation therapy and the medical cannabis industry. His passion: embracing the challenge of developing innovative programs, products and services in highly regulated environments. Areas of emphasis have included: regulatory affairs, corporate development, business development, operations, strategy, marketing, medical affairs, stakeholder/government relations and leading the development of healthcare provider and patient education programs. 

Pram holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (with a minor in Marketing) from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto’s Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, a Professional Certificate in Cannabis Science and Medicine from the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine, a Certificate in Opioid Dependence Treatment from the Center for Addiction and Mental Health and an MBA Essentials Certificate from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. 

Recently held management positions include: Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Regulatory Affairs (Pathway Health Corp – PHC.V), Vice President of Pharmacy Programs & Regulatory Affairs (Pathway Health Corp), Vice President of Medical Affairs & Partner Relations (The Clinic Network) and Vice President of Medical Operations and Business Optimization (National Access Cannabis Medical-Meta Growth Corp -META.V)

After spending the last 6 years in corporate leadership roles, Pram launched PS Healthcare Consulting Inc, with the goal to help companies shape strategy and advance their business objectives. For that last 3 years, Pram has also served as a Board Director and Treasurer for a company developing an eco-friendly, healthy sugar substitute and line of cannabis beverages. Pram originally started his career as a hospital pharmacist in 2000, eventually transitioning into private sector roles in 2008. To stay connected with the challenges faced by front-line healthcare providers and contribute to providing direct patient care, Pram has continued to practice as a licensed pharmacist for over 24 years. 

Recent speaking engagements have included the 2022 Metro Pharmacies Inc Annual General Meeting and the 2019 Lift & Co Conference.

Pram’s areas of interest include: tele-health, healthcare marketing, innovative drug delivery devices, sustainable sugar substitutes, innovations in health services delivery and emerging healthcare technologies.
